Should the government do more to encourage young people to vote in elections?


     I think the government should do more to get young people to vote in elections. I have two reasons for this.
     First, many young people don’t vote. This makes politics about older people, not the young. Even though more young people are interested in elections now, the number is still very low.
     Second, many older people are in the government. This means young people’s ideas aren’t included in politics. Some people say older people have more experience and vote better, but they might not understand what today’s young people care about.
     For these reasons, I think the government should do more to encourage young people to vote. (133 words)
