Should people's salaries be based on their job performances?
2022年第1回英検準1級ライティング問題より
I believe that people's salaries should be based on their job performances. Below are two reasons to support my view.
Firstly, workers will be motivated for their jobs by that. Needless to say, money is important. Being based on their performances means becoming more competitive among coworkers but it will benefit companies.
Secondly, companies can reduce the salaries of those who do not contribute to them. It will make them stronger as a company. While some people feel the workers who have poor results are sad, it cannot be unavoidable in the business world.
For these reasons, in my opinion, people's salaries should be based on their job performances. (109 words)

人々の給与は仕事の成果に基づいて決定されるべきなのか？
私は、人々の給与は仕事の成果に基づいて決定されるべきだと考えています。以下は、私の考えを支持する2つの理由です。
第一に、労働者はそれによって仕事に対するモチベーションを高めることができます。言うまでもなく、お金は重要です。成果主義になるということは、同僚間の競争が激しくなるということですが、企業にとっては利益になります。
第二に、企業は貢献しない人の給料を減らすことができます。それが企業としての強さにつながります。成績の悪い労働者を悲しく思う人もいますが、ビジネスの世界ではやむを得ません。
このような理由から、私の考えでは、人々の給与は仕事の成果に基づいて決定されるべきです。
