Should Japan do more to protect its historic sites?
2018年度第2回英検準1級ライティング問題より
I think Japan should do more to protect historical sites. I have two reasons for this.
The first reason is education. Historical sites help people learn about the past in a way that books and videos cannot. When people see these places, they can feel history and understand it better. Seeing real historical sites makes learning more interesting and easier to remember.
The second reason is that historical sites are important for tourism. When more tourists visit historical sites, local businesses like restaurants, hotels, and shops make more money. Of course, there are other ways to bring tourists, but historical sites are special because they show the unique culture and history of a place.
For these reasons, I think Japan should do more to protect historical sites. (127 words)

日本は史跡を守るためにもっとすべきでしょうか？
私は、日本は史跡を守るためにもっと努力すべきだと思います。その理由は二つあります。
一つ目の理由は教育です。史跡は、本や動画では学べない方法で歴史を学ぶのに役立ちます。実際にその場所を見ることで、歴史を感じ、より深く理解することができます。実物を見ると、学ぶことがもっと面白くなり、記憶にも残りやすくなります。
二つ目の理由は観光です。史跡を訪れる観光客が増えると、レストランやホテル、お土産屋さんなどの地元のビジネスが成長します。もちろん、観光客を集める方法はほかにもありますが、史跡はその土地ならではの文化や歴史を伝える特別なものです。
これらの理由から、私は日本は史跡を守るためにもっと努力すべきだと思います。
