Should Japan do more to protect its historic sites?
英検準1級2018年度2回(2018年10月実施)ライティング問題より
I do not think that Japan should do more to protect its historic sites. I have two reasons to support my view.
The first reason is that Japan has been doing many things to protect its historic sites. That is because the situation is good so children can study history from it, which means that it already has educational value enough. Some people might say that investing money makes historic sites better but the money should be used on other things.
The second reason is that the correct situation of historic sites has been contributing to tourism. The money which has been used for those is enough to satisfy tourists. Although using a lot of money makes historic sites more attractive, it should be used on other good fields as well such as attractive places which are unfamiliar to tourists.
For these reasons, I do not believe Japan doing more to preserve its historic sites is a positive thing. (159 words)

日本が史跡を守るためにもっとすべきだと思いますか？
日本が史跡を守るためにもっとすべきだとは思いません。私の見解を支持する理由は2つあります。
最初の理由は、日本が史跡を保護するために多くのことをしていることです。それは、子どもたちが歴史を学ぶことができる状況が良いためです。つまり、それはすでに十分な教育的価値を持っているということです。一部の人々は、お金を投資することは史跡をより良くすると言うかもしれませんが、そのお金は他のものに使われるべきです。
第2の理由は、史跡の現在の状況が観光に貢献していることです。それらに使われているお金は観光客を満足させるのに十分です。たくさんのお金を使うことは史跡をより魅力的にしますが、他の分野、観光客に知られていない魅力的な場所などに使われるべきです。
