Should people trust information on the internet?
2022年度 第2回英検準1級ライティング問題より
I do not think people should trust information on the internet. There are two reasons for this.
The first reason is that there is a risk of being involved in crimes. There are many websites on the internet that try to trick people. Some people say that users can avoid problems by being careful, but scam websites are becoming more sophisticated, and it is very hard for ordinary users to recognize them.
The second reason is that there is a lot of incorrect information on the internet. For example, the photos of products on the internet can be different from the actual products. Some websites may write in small text that the actual product may vary, but no one wants to buy something different from what they expected.
For these reasons, I believe it is important to doubt information on the internet instead of trusting it immediately. (147 words)

人々はインターネット上の情報を信じるべきですか？
人々はインターネット上の情報を信じるべきではないと思います。その理由は2つあります。
1つ目は、犯罪に巻き込まれる危険があるからです。インターネット上には人を騙すサイトがたくさんあります。気をつければ問題ないという意見もありますが、詐欺サイトはどんどん巧妙になっていて、普通の人が見分けるのはとても難しいです。
2つ目は、間違った情報が多いからです。例えば、インターネットで見た写真と実際の商品が違うことがあります。サイトに実物とは違う場合があると小さく書かれていることもありますが、それでも違うものを買いたい人はいないと思います。
だから、インターネットの情報はすぐに信じるのではなく、疑うことが大事だと思います。
