Should people trust information on the Internet?
2022年第2回英検準1級ライティング問題より
I do not believe that people should blindly trust information on the Internet. Here are two reasons to substantiate my viewpoint.
Firstly, the amount of fake news has been increasing. It misleads many people. While deciding whether news is true or false is easy for some people, the extent of fake news has been increasing and made to appear real.
Secondly, AI sometimes generates false information on the Internet. For instance, translation apps make the wrong translations, changing the actual meaning of content or words that people wanted to say. Granted, its veracity may not be important to some, but most people will not notice such misleading content.
For these reasons, in my opinion, people should not trust all information on the Internet. (123 words)

人々はインターネット上の情報を信用すべきなのか？
私は、人々がインターネット上の情報を盲目的に信用すべきではないと考えています。私の見解を実証する2つの理由があります。
第一に、フェイクニュースの量が増えています。多くの人を惑わします。ニュースの真偽を判断するのは人によっては簡単ですが、フェイクニュースの量は増え続け、本物に見えるようになっています。
第二に、AIがインターネット上で偽の情報を生成することがあります。例えば、翻訳アプリは間違った翻訳をし、言いたかった内容や言葉の実際の意味を変えてしまいます。もちろん、そのことは一部の人にとっては重要ではないかもしれませんが、ほとんどの人はそのような誤解を招く内容に気づかないでしょう。
このような理由から、インターネット上の情報をすべて信用すべきではないと私は考えています。
