Do you think that Japanese consumers will buy more imported products in the future?
英検準1級2019年度第1回ライティング問題より
I think Japanese people will buy more imported products in the future. There are two reasons for this.
The first reason is price. Imported products are usually cheaper than Japanese products. Some people say that cheap products are low quality, but more and more imported products have good quality. So, this problem is getting smaller every year.
The second reason is globalization. Because of the Internet, it is easier to buy products from other countries. Some people are worried about shopping online, but now there are return policies and customer reviews. These things help people feel safe when they buy things online.
For these reasons, I think Japanese people will buy more imported products in the future. (117 words)
【日本語訳】
私は、日本の人々が将来、もっと多くの輸入品を買うようになると思います。理由は二つあります。
一つ目の理由は、値段です。輸入された商品は、普通、日本の商品よりも安いです。安い商品は品質が悪いという人もいますが、質の良い輸入品もどんどん増えています。だから、この問題は年々小さくなっています。
二つ目の理由は、グローバル化です。インターネットのおかげで、外国の製品を簡単に買うことができるようになりました。オンラインで買い物をするのを不安に思う人もいますが、今では返品保証や口コミ機能があります。これらのおかげで、オンラインで買い物をするときに安心できるようになっています。
この二つの理由から、私は日本の人々が将来、もっと輸入品を買うようになると思います。
