I do not think universities should stop offering courses that are not useful for getting a job. There are two reasons for this.
The first reason is that what is useful is different for each person. Students can choose the courses they want to study. Some people may think required subjects are not helpful, but if they feel that way, maybe that university is not the right place for them.
The second reason is that the main purpose of university is to do research and learn deeply. Universities are not just for getting a job. Some people say that universities should only offer job-related courses, but people who think that way should go to a vocational school instead.
For these reasons, I believe universities should not stop offering courses just because they are not useful for getting a job.

大学は就職に役立たないコースを中止すべきですか？
私は、大学は就職に役立たないコースを中止すべきではないと思います。理由は二つあります。
一つ目の理由は、何が役に立つかは人によって違うからです。学生は、自分の興味や将来の目標に合わせて授業を選ぶことができます。中には、必修科目が役に立たないと考える人もいるかもしれませんが、そのように思うなら、その大学を選ばなければよいだけです。
二つ目の理由は、大学は学問や研究を深める場所だからです。大学の目的は、就職のためだけにあるわけではありません。中には、もっと実用的なコースを増やすべきだと考える人もいますが、そう思う人には職業訓練校の方が向いていると思います。
これらの理由から、私は大学が就職に役立たないコースをなくすべきだとは考えていません。
