英検準1級ライティング練習問題
I do not think that world peace is an achievable goal. I have two reasons to support my view.
The first reason is that poor countries exist. Even if they do not want to have wars, they will be forced to obtain food or resources. Although the number of poor countries has been decreasing, it will never be zero.
The second reason is that everyone is not equal. For example, there are huge differences between rich countries and poor ones. Rich countries may say that wars should not occur to get food or resources, but some poor countries will insist that wars are necessary to live happily, though they are reluctant to start them.
For these reasons, I think world peace is not a realistic goal. (126 words)

世界平和が達成可能な目標であるとは思うか。
私は世界平和が達成可能な目標であるとは思いません。私の見解を支持する理由は2つあります。
第一の理由は、貧しい国々が存在するということです。彼らが戦争をしたくないとしても、彼らは食料や資源を手に入れることを余儀なくされます。貧しい国の数は減っていますが、それがゼロになることは決してありません。
2つ目の理由は、誰もが平等ではないということです。たとえば、豊かな国と貧しい国の間には大きな違いがあります。先進国は食糧や資源を手に入れるために戦争は起こらないと言うかもしれませんが、一部の貧しい国は戦争を始めることには消極的ですが、幸せに暮らすためには戦争が必要であると主張します。
これらの理由から、世界平和は現実的な目標ではないと思います。
