Should cloning research be promoted or should it be discounted?
英検1級2015年第1回ライティング問題より（英検準1級対策として使用）
I believe that cloning research should be promoted. Below are two reasons to support my view.
Firstly, cloning research will help many sick people. It enables them to receive organs. Some people might argue that it has a risk, but it is true to help more sick people.
Secondly, cloning research can protect endangered species. For instance, it can create females if there are few. While it will have an bad effect on ecological systems more or less, it can save endangered species and balance that.
For these reasons, cloning research should be promoted. (94 words)

クローン研究は推進されるべきか、それとも否定されるべきか？
私はクローン研究を推進すべきだと考えています。以下は、私の考えを支持する2つの理由です。
第一に、クローン研究は多くの病人を救います。臓器を提供することが可能になるからです。リスクがあると反論する人もいるかもしれませんが、より多くの病人を助けることができるのは事実です。
